How to Prevent Mouth Cancer
Cancer of the mouth, perhaps laymen rarely heard. We hear more about brain cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, and other types of cancers but in fact cancer can we find in society, although it is not commonly found, perhaps only a few percent only.
Cancer of the mouth as one of the many types of cancer that undermines the human body sometimes is difficult to explain. Health practitioners are also not always able to explain why a person can suffer from cancer and others do not. Many people who have cancer risk was also not suffering from cancer. But to prevent the risk factors and increasing protective factors may prevent the body of cancer.

Then how should we prevent the occurrence of cancer of the mouth. Here are some risk factors that can increase the risk of mouth cancer on someone, which you should avoid:
Tobacco
Tobacco use is the major cause of mouth cancer. so from now on stop smoking. Smoking and chewing tobacco associated with the occurrence of cancer of the mouth. Risk of mouth cancer was increased with the number of cigarettes smoked during the day. Using tobacco products associated with the occurrence of cancer at the base of the mouth, also causing cancer in the oral cavity, oropharynx and on the lips. Tobacco users who have mouth cancer can develop into any other cancer in the oral cavity, or the surrounding areas like the nose, throat, vocal cords, and the trachea (windpipe)
Alcohol
Consuming alcohol is a major risk factor for mouth cancer. So as much as possible to avoid the consumption of alcohol if you do not want to suffer from mouth cancer. The risks are increased in line with how much alcohol was consumed in a day. Consumption of alcohol is a major risk factor for the occurrence of leukoplakia lesions and eritroplakia, an abnormal lesions that occur in the oral cavity mucosal lining and can turn into cancer. The results showed that the risk of mouth cancer is reduced if a person stops consuming alcohol.
Sun Exposure
Exposed to the sun too long it can increase the occurrence of cancer in your mouth, usually occurs on the lower lip. Avoiding the sun and use a lip moisturizer with sunscreen or use a colored lipstick can reduce the risk of lip cancer.
HPV infection
Be careful with this strain of HPV or Human Papilloma Virus, because this strain can increase the risk of mouth cancer.
